Wheat pasta in red sauce

                                                       Wheat pasta in red sauce

Ingredients:

boiled pasta: 1/2 cup
melted butter: 1/2tsp
spring onions with greens: 1
diced capsicum: 1
carrot: 1
bell pepper: 1/2 cup
broccoli: 4-5 florets
tomato puree: 3-4tsp
crushed garlic: 1/2tsp
ketchup: 1/2tsp
pepper: 1/4tsp
oregano/basil: 1/4 tsp
salt to taste

Recipe:

  • Heat butter in a pan and put garlic in it.
  • now add all vegetables and saute it.
  • add tomato puree, ketchup, salt, pepper,oregano and cook for 5-10 minutes at low flame
  • when the vegetables are half done, add boiled pasta and mix well
  • cook for 5 minutes more and serve hot.

Its candy made with honey is specially good for heart and for cough and cold. Regular use of raw carrots has been known to depress blood cholestrol.

Ingredients:

suji: 1kt
curd: 1kt
eno: 1tsp
capsicum: 1
onions: 1
carrots: 1
cabbage: 4tsp
soya sauce: 2tsp
vinegar: 1tsp
oil: 1tsp
salt to taste

Recipe:

  • Chop all vegetables in long slices and keep it aside.
  • mix suji, curd, salt in a big bowl and make a idli batter.
  • grease idli mould nicely.
  • now mix eno in idli batter and immediately put it in a mould and steam it.
  • take oil in a pan and saute all vegetables in it
  • after vegetables are half done and crispy add salt, soya sauce and steamed idlis and saute it.
  • now add vinegar and cook it for 2 mins and serve hot.

Bajra Khichdi

Ingredients:                                                                                   Serving: 1person

bajra: 30gms
moth: 15gms
ginger: 1tsp
carrot: 1
capsicum: 1/2
onions: 1medium
tomatoes: 1medium
spinach: 6-7leaves
red chili powder: 1/4tsp
jeera: 1tsp
garam masala: 1/4tsp
salt to taste
oil : 1tsp

Recipe:

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add jeera to it.
  • add chopped onions and cook it till it gets pink in colour.
  • add all chopped vegetables and saute it.
  • now add washed and soaked moth and bajra in it
  • mix all spices and pressure cook it for 10 mins on low flame
  • garnish it with green coriander and serve hot with curd.

Ingredients:                                                                         Serving: 2-3 cups

mushrooms: 1 pkt
melted butter: 1/2 tsp
spring onions with greens: 1
double toned milk: 1/4 cup
pepper: 1/4 tsp
salt to taste

Recipe:

  • Chop 3-4 mushrooms and keep it aside, and boil the remaining mushrooms in 2 cups of water.
  • now churn the boiled mushrooms with remaining water in a mixer and make a stock
  • take butter in a pan and add chopped mushrooms, spring onions and greens and saute it.
  • add stock to it and bring it to boil.
  • then add milk and simmer the soup, season it.
  • serve hot.

Ingredients:

broccoli/ cauliflower: 200 gms
babycorn: 2-3 sticks
spinach: 4-5 leaves finely chopped
cabbage: 2 Tsp finely chopped
carrot: 1
crushed ginger and garlic : 1 tsp
pepper: 1/4 tsp
vinegar: 1 tsp
soya sauce: 1/2 tsp
salt to taste

Recipe:

  • Boil water in a pan and add ginger-garlic paste in it.
  • now add all cut vegetables in it and bring it to boil at low flame without the lid.
  • when the vegetables are half done and crispy, add vinegar, soya sauce, salt and pepper to it.
  • serve hot.

Low cal chicken and corn soup

                                                       Chicken and corn soup

Ingredients:

chicken (boneless) : 100gms
spring onions with greens:  2
capsicum:  1 medium
carrots : 2 small
lettuce:  1 small bunch
sweet corn (boiled): 2 Tsp
butter/ olive oil:  1/2 tsp
pepper:  1/4 tsp
salt: 1/2 tsp
vinegar:  1

Recipe:

  • Boil chicken in 500ml of water.
  • keep the chicken stock aside and refrigerate the stock(remaining boiled water).
  • once chilled, remove the fat layer from the stock.
  • heat butter/olive oil in a pan and add finely chopped vegetables mentioned above.
  • once vegetables are slightly cooked, add boiled corns and chicken.
  • now add stock to it.
  • season it and serve hot.

Ingredients:                                                       Serving: 2 persons

wheat vermicelli:  50 gms
capsicum:   1 medium
red carrots: 2 medium
cucumber:  1 small
roasted peanuts: 2 Tsp
pepper:  1/4tsp
vinegar:  1tsp
salt: 1/2tsp

Recipe:
  • boil the wheat vermicelli and wash it with cold water to remove the starch.
  • mix boiled vermicelli with finely chopped capsicum, carrots, cucumber in a bowl.
  • add crushed peanuts to the above mixture.
  • add salt, pepper and vinegar to it and refrigerate it.
  • serve chilled.

channa kababs

Ingredients:                                                                  Serving:6-7 kebabs

black channa:  100gms
ginger crushed: 1 small
besan: 1Tsp
green chillies: 2
green coriander chopped: 1 small katori
garam masala powder: 1/4 tsp
salt: 1/2 tsp
oil: 2 tsp

Recipe:

  • soak black channa overnight.
  • boil it in pressure cooker for 30 mins at low flame.
  • cool it and grind it in mixer
  • add crushed ginger, green chillies,coriander,garam masala,besan and salt to it
  • make kebabs out of the mixture.
  • cook it in nonstick with 2 tsp of oil.
  • serve hot.

cucumber:   1 small
apple:     1 medium
capsicum:   1 medium
pomegranate:   1 medium
pear:   1 medium
Bell peppers: 1 small(optional)
vinegar : 1 tsp
salt:  1/4 tsp
sugar:   1/4 tsp
pepper: 1/4 tsp

Recipe:

  • cut all fruits and vegetables mentioned above in a big bowl
  • ad d vinegar,salt,pepper,sugar to it
  • refrigerate it and serve cold.
