Tip of the week

Carrot is soothing, healing and nourishing. Its sugar is easily digested. It purifies blood. Taken with milk it is a tonic and tends to reduce the hazards of infection in childbirth. Its candy made with honey is specially good for heart and for cough and cold. Regular use of raw carrots has been known to depress blood cholestrol.
