                                                   Bread salad with roasted onions

Ingredients:

toasted brown bread: 1slice
onions: 2 medium
green capsicum: 1 medium
tomatoes: 2 medium
lettuce: 3-4 leaves
brown bread crumbs: 2 tsp
vinegar: 2 tsp
black peppercorns: 7-8
mixed herbs: 1/4 tsp
salt to taste

Recipe:
  • roast onions over the open flame and cut it into one inch square pieces.
  • for dressing mix vinegar,salt, peppercorns and herbs into a bowl.
  • mix together one inch square pieces of toasted bread, onions, capsicum, tomatoes and chopped lettuce.
  • just before serving add dressing to the salad and garnish it with brown bread crumbs and serve immediately.

Apple pineapple and orange salad

                                               Apple pineapple and orange salad

Ingredients:                                                                           Serving: 4 persons

Apple : 1 large diced
pineapple: 1/2 medium diced
oranges: 2 medium
fresh mint leaves: 10

Dressing:
lemon juice: 1Tsp
sugar: 1/2tsp
salt to taste
roasted cumin seeds: 1/2tsp
red chili powder: 1/4tsp
black peppercorns crushed: 5-6

Recipe:
  • Mix all ingredients for the dressing with 2 tablespoons of water.
  • add the fruits to the dressing and garnish with chopped mint leaves.
  • serve at room temperature.

Chutney Chicken

                                                           Chutney Chicken

Ingredients:

boneless chicken : 2 medium pieces
curd: 2tsp
garam masala: 1/4tsp
cumin seeds: 1/4tsp
coriander seeds: 1/2tsp
black pepper (whole): 3-4
cloves: 2pc
coriander leaves: 3-4 sticks
mint leaves: 2;3 sticks
garlic : 1/2tsp
ginger: 1/2tsp
green chili: 1
salt to taste

Recipe:
  • marinate chicken with curd, garam masala and salt for 1 hour.
  • cook the marinated chicken in non-stick till gravy gets thick.
  • roast cumin seeds,coriander seeds,pepper,cloves and ground them.
  • add coriander leaves, mint leaves, garlic, ginger green chili to the roasted and grounded spices above and ground them together to get a thick paste
  • add this paste to the chicken and again cook with lid for 10 mins on low flame and serve hot.





Papaya Salad

Ingredients:

Raw papaya: 1/2
imli Juice: 2tsp
sugar: 1/2tsp
roasted peanuts: 2Tsp
green chili: 1
coriander leaves: 3-4 sticks
salt to taste.

Recipe:
  • peel the papaya and grate it coarsely.
  • pound green chili and coriander.
  • mix grated papaya, pounded green chili and coriander, imli juice, sugar, crushed roasted peanuts and salt.
  • serve at room temperature.
